Brief Desc: The Sentara New Years Day 5K is in memory of Denise Suits. Ms. Suits was an employee of Sentara Center for Health and Fitness (SCHF) and after losing the fight against cancer, the race is still held in her memory benefitting the American Cancer Society. This is the 15th year for the event.
Route: The event will be held through the streets of Coliseum Central, starting in the Sentara hospital parking lot, onto Armistead Rd, onto Marcella Rd, onto Executive Dr, onto Hardy Cash Dr, and ending on C&F Drive near the fitness center parking lot. |
