This is a brief description of my race:
This was my first ever organized race. I had no idea what to expect and no reason to expect the best.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the race. It was a fairly hilly course (for Phoenix) but the weather was nice.
I found that had it been a 10K, I would not have been a happy man, but at 8K, I was pretty happy.
