This is a brief description of my race:

Overcoming a hamstring injury, my plan was to run 8:45 the first mile and run every mile after that, 5 seconds faster than the previous. Negative splits the whole way, baby! Other than a 10:17 first mile due to the crowd ahead of me, I did very well keeping to my plan.
