This is a brief description of my race:

This race was the morning of some horrible rain/windstorms. Fortunately, they abated for the start, and during the run (although it heated up some...). But during the bike, the rain was awful. So hard it hurt. The wind was also killer. Despite this, my swim and bike were really fine. The average power on the bike was a bit low, probably because of all the focus on the conditions, and maybe because of the big hiking week before. But I collapsed badly on the run, coincident with GI problems. I really hope the GI issues were the cause of that... Large high-vegetable dinner the night before? Someone else had the same meal and the same problem. Not sure if that was causal, but I hope so.
