This event took place on the Extra Terrestrial Highway, near Area 51 in the Nevada desert, at midnight, under the full moon. I jogged a bit of it, but for the most part it was a romantic stroll in the moonlight with my husband. The coyotes howling in the background and the occasional rattle of a rattlesnake just added to the ambience. I would like to run this one sometime, just to see how it compares with other challenging courses.
