Windy City Sports magazine is looking for images in for its Year in Pictures feature, which will appear in the December issue - and our deadline is approaching on Thursday, November 13! We are looking for compelling images shot in 2008 in such sports as running, cycling, triathlon, mountain biking, adventure racing, rock climbing and paddling. The focus is on images from events around the area that capture the emotion of sport. Like Jim McKay used to say, we want “the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.”Windy City Sports editors will select a broad mix of images to run in the feature and will name one shot for an Editors’ Choice Award.Please identify the event, location, date and the people in the image and any other information that could be used for a caption. Please identify the photo credit. If a company name is credited, please also name the specific photographer. If you have a website, please include that information as well. All images that are submitted will be published on a one-time-use basis in our Year in Pictures feature. Files can be submitted to jeff@windycitysports.com.
