About Us: The Arizona Road Racers was founded in November, 1970. The club has been staging runs ever since. The first races were pretty simple -- draw a line, run from here to there and back. The purpose of the Arizona Road Racers, a non-profit organization, is to promote running, fitness and a healthy lifestyle through the involvement of its members, for the benefit of its members and the community.
