Taking care of business before a long run!
This is REALLY important. You must read!
This past weekend I was watching a very piece of video on youtube about a dude who was running a marathon and had a # 2 accident. I laughed really hard, and felt bad for the guy. Can you imagine running a marathon while crapping in your shorts I mean literally...the guy was so brave he did not even stop. Eww and gross was what I said when I saw it.
Well, I usually challenge myself eating a whole meal and going for a run after 30min. Today, I ate a variety of different things, so it upset my stomach. I took off for my 11miles run before I payed a visit to a restroom. I had a good rhythm and was feeling pretty good, halfway past 7miles, I needed to go to a restroom. I kept running, but there was no way that I was gonna be able to run the 4+mile to my house w/out visiting a restroom. Luckily I had a chance to find a restroom.
Lesson learn? Its good to load on carb. and such before any workout, but make sure you do it at least 2hrs before and visit a restroom before you go. PLeaSE, please people drink water throughout the day. If you cannot drink a gallon of water a day, then take your weight and divided it by 2 and drink that much of water...of course in ounces! For example I weigh 135 pounds so the math is like this: 135/2 = 67.5, therefore if I can't drink a gallon of water a day I must drink at least 67.5oz of water a day! I would write more but I am tired...I'm hitting the sack. Peace!
