A storm blew in around midnight and the howling winds woke me up. Got up at 4am for this event.

There were too many cyclists riding on the race course and though they were safe it was a distraction to the runners.
Describe your warmup:
None, other than light jog to bag drop and some butt kicks and high knees.

Small field at front, darkness, pace was 6:05+

Ran in small groups most of the way, very windy heading North

Tail wind heading South

Plan was to simply "do" the race and run within myself, target time was 1:26 to 1:30 (mellow), ran 1:25
