Had a pre-race Italian dinner and got to meet Ange+ and GGP along with my niece and her friends from Kauai. |
| Describe your warmup: |
Walking from the hotel to the race area. Finding porta potties and the buses for bag check. Very crowded in the start areas - waiting body to body for the start with barely breathing room. |

Started running through the city. Garmin lost signal in the tall buildings for a little while. Then ran down along the bay. Nice cool day, great temp. |
| Race Details - Middle of Race: |
Could see the hills coming up with the line of runners going up the hill. Weren't as hard as I thought they would be. Would get to the top of a hill and think that was the top and we'd turn a corner and see another climb before us. Overall, a lot of fun to run with so many women. |

Ran through Golden Gate Park. By that time, was glad that we were almost done and not doing the full marathon. |

Would like to be able to keep a faster pace on the hills and in the future will train more on hills. |
