Mike Riley for sure. Find out if he ever tires of those great words "You are an ironman!"
If you can find them - how about the person who paid the most money for the ebay slot (38,000USD on Monday) and find out how they came up with the money and if they think it was worth it

Some of the fast age groupers. Paul Huddle. The ebay slot purchaser is a great idea, although would they want to be known? Is it used as advertisement or a personal purchase kind of thing? I think it would be pretty cool to hear from the guys/girls who we've heard on Epic Camp who've qualified/ raced throughout the year.

Paulo Sousa, Brett Sutton & Cliff English if they're about to hear from the World's top coaches - after John of course!

Dave Scott or Scott Tinley...they're always a good listen. And see if you can find any of the original Ironman from the 70's....
Work your magic boys!!

p.s. John, "Mr consistent" and Ironman Training is an oxymoron when applied to me!
Although, I'd rather have a nickname that had been thought over, rather than some auto-generated thing from a web site.

Interview my SBR teammate Mauricio Sanchez. He actually made it in to Kona via Lottery. He's a steller triathlete, speedy age grouper and I am sure he'd have some keen non-pro perspectives on the race. Besides, who among us hasn't dreamt of getting in through the lottery!
And Bevan, wear the ipod, man! I'll be leaving for my honeymoon that day but I'll send you positive vibes!

Love to hear from the top finishing age groupers - finding out what training they do, whether they work (or not!) and if they do how they balance it all. And if they don't work, how they afford it all!!!!

My random thoughts:
1. Laurent Jalabert X French pro cycling star...
2. Brett Sutton if he's willing...
3. Phil Ligget if he's around...
4. Maybe the pro's wives, see what they think/feel re all the training/time apart etc...a different perspective
5. The LAST person to cross the finish line right before the cutoff time...
6. Laird Hamilton...
7. random triathletes, ask them if they regret getting the golden arch's of Mcdonald's tattoo I mean the Mdot tattoo since it's just a company logo now...
8. Tim Deboom
9. Peter Reid if he flys over ha ha
10. Norman only AFTER he crumbles again
