Gold Coast Half Ironman

Great event, huge field and super location. Flat swim in the canals, slightly breezy on the bike but relatively flat and hot and exposed on the run. 10mins off on my run time due to heat and humidity, otherwise great race and I will be back !

200-300m swim in canals

Flat as a tack and no sharks cited !

Windy, terrible road surface, tyre pressure too high for road surface.

Hot and exposed, remember sun cream in transition gear next year
