Worst race I have ever entered or witnessed.
when I asked questions about the race or asked why certain things remain unchanged or unaddressed over the years, the response was similar in that most said things like, "It is George's race...not a normal event"..."George does things his way"..."don't know why he keeps it that way as it doesn't make sense"..."those are just more reasons why it doesn't grow..."

Significant issues
Bikers on the course - this is dangerous and in time someone will get badly hurt. Closed course may cost more or require the city parks dept to be involved, but this is too dangerous in its present state. Many never of had an accident, but odds say it will happen which is sad as it is avoidable.
The 1/2 marathon course should take advantage of the entire lake. Sure it is harder and more expensive to provide support, but White Rock is one of the best and most beautiful running courses in the state. Running on NW Hwy not only places the runners
