| Describe your warmup: |
Before the rain began, we took short jobs around the building followed by light stretching. Which, didn't do much good after the rain began. We hid out under a tree to keep dry at least until the race started... so, the warm-up seemed useless. |
| Race Details - Start of Race: |
Downhill on the business hwy in the middle of town. The roads were wet, but the pavement provided traction. Many people shot past us and we passed many of them later. |
| Race Details - Middle of Race: |
After a long incline, and steep decline, the course took us through the sidewalks of a nearby park. It was pretty, and the rain hadn't stopped. It washed mud onto the course, and the sidewalk didn't provide any traction. We slowed a bit, but hit 2 miles at 13'42". |

The finish line was uphill, and on sidewalk... made the mad dash to the finish a bit difficult except for a young boy that shot past us. |
