Bandito 10 miler today at Granada Park with a lot of great people from the Banditos Running Group from Scottsdale. I had 10 miles scheduled for today (not at race pace - but I am getting a little tired of my long run venues) so I thought this canal out and back would be just the cure! I kinda went for it. Time: 1:03 & change. Average Pace: 6:21, Average HR: 161. I felt conistant and strong with definitely some endurance buliding work up & down those under passes! 2 wks and counting to RnRAZ!

Arrowhead Country Club Group Run today afor First Wave Tri Club. Jeffrey was the only one who showed. First trial run with my new Camelbak Rogue for this weekends Rim to Rim with Mike. Our goal is to run the course and finish under 6 hours. Today's run started on the regular route but the middle brought me to Thunderbird Park to run the trails and hills. Still averaged under 7:30 pace for the 8.8 miles. HR was up due to the climbing and weight of the pack. Can't wait for this weekend!

Treadmill 8x800 before teaching my spinning class. Actually I got in 6 before and 2 after. Raining outside so I have been a baby and have opted for the intense sweating of treadmill workouts. 5 minute warm up at 7:30 pace then .5 miles at 6:31 pace followed with a .25 mile recovery at 7:30.
