WDYDT for Monday, October 27, 2008
Commute to work and back the long way. Two Rutgers carbon fiber Lycra-clad cycling guys caught me on River Road. They basically said, on your left hi see ya later, as if they thought they were just gonna blow by. I said I was gonna hang for a bit. Did. Then they slowed and I pulled them. That felt good - to be pulling two guys on $3K bikes with my $400 1986 eBay Trek on a commute home wearing a backpack. Was supposed to be an easy day, but got moderate because of this.

WDYDT for Wednesday, October 29, 2008
Rode my new Dawes SST single speed to work and back today 14.8 total miles. About the same time to cover the distance, but it is harder. Probably because the gear 46/16 is relatively taller than I am used to, so more pushing than spinning. Club run 7.5 miles at night felt great.
