Did my last 20mi run yesterday in Elma, E.Aurora, and Wales. The hills were tough and hands were numb with cold as it got dark but no major pains. 2 weeks of taper and recover till the marathon.
Saw deer, fox, sheep, cows, horses, and dead skunk. Still looking for a bear hmm perhaps not.

I seemed to go faster and faster until the the last .25mi I was at 6:30min/mi ... crazy!

Finished my first marathon. Seems the flu took a lot out of me. I finished 4:49. The day and the course was beautiful. Just wish I felt better. But I sure I'll improve greatly by the next one.
