TriSports.com Halfmax National Championship 2009: Triathlon/Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles, Run 13.1 miles

This was a "A" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.

Race Notes: This was a tough day - the rain early on made for some misery - then turned into a sauna once the sun came out. Overall - I was pleased with the results - right in line with goals. Race was excellent in terms of organization and fanfare.

Big Shark New Town Triathlon 2009: Sprint Tri 0.62Mi Swim, 20Mi Cycle, 4Mi Run

Sunday, 07/19/2009 — St. Charles, MO

This was a "B" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.

Race Notes: This was a pretty good race for me. I set a goal of 2 hours (completed 1:53) with a bike pace goal of 20 mph (completed 20.9 mph) and a run pace goal of 8:00 (completed with 8:04). Minor GI distress on run - lots of sloshing. Need to figure this out before Redman OKC.
