After a good start to 2008 I ran into some knee problems in Arpil and have had to give up on a track season this summer. But now I am slowly starting to run again will be ready for a great XC season this fall. The plan is to take an open and masters team (hopefully for both men and women) to XC Club Nationals in Spokane in December.

For any of you in the Bellingham area, we have a good group of runners who get together every Tuesday evening at 5:30 for a track workout at the Civic Stadium track. We'd love to have you join us.

Also, I wanted to mention the jewelry and art gallery that my wife and I own in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham. It called Whimsey and is located at 1200, suite 104 on 10th Street, just across the street from the Village Green. Here is the website if you would like to check it out.

2008 Redmond Hawk Run 5K

This is always a fun race. Its a flat, fast course and always has some good runners.

Its fun to see photos of the RHS track from back in the day. When did RHS get a rubber track? I think I first started running on that track around 1987 and it was rubber then. ...
