This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: This was the first 100% race since 2006. I ran by heart rate and was on plan through mile 19. The resulting mile splits were faster than I had hoped. Even after 19 when I had trouble raising my HR over the mid-50s my splits were in the 6:40-6:50 range. The cold/wet (low 40s and rain) and being under-dressed (removed my long sleeves had hat, gloves, shots and singlet) was a problem and may have been part of the reason for slowing into the 7:10s in the last two miles.
