Hi Jerry,
I noticed you ran the old pueblo 50 this year. What did you think of the course and the overall race. I have signed up for the 2010 race and it will be my first 50 miler.
Thanks Jerry.

That is awesome! How did your team do? Rob and Lindsy also ran it in a little over 27 hours! No I wish I could have ran it. About 4 weeks before the Chicago Marathon I had to take 12 weeks off from running - severe stress responses in both of my tibias (not quite fractures, but the treatment is the same). So I started back running slowly around Christmastime. PT has had me be very conservative; I'm finally back up to running continuously instead of short intervals, but I'm only up to 4 miles. Next week I will add a 4th day at 4 miles and then hopefully up the mileage the following week. There's no big rush and I would like to stay injury free. I am hoping to be able to join Team D for the alumni run on March 21. I don't have any details about it yet; Coach Dave just mentioned the run and the date. I hope that maybe next year I can do the Ragnar Relay...it looks like an incredible experience! Take care and maybe I will see you on March 21!

Hi Jerry! I was on Team D with you in 2007-2008. I was going to run the Full but then ended up running the half since I got picked for the Tokyo Marathon lottery; that race was about 5 weeks after PF Changs. No I'm not Diabetic, but 3 of my grandparents were. Did you end up running Ragnar this year?

Just noticed you run A LOT of races. I don't have the time/money to run as many, but will look out and try to meet you at one of the upcoming races in the near future. I'll be doing the Litchfield Park 10K on March 7th (running in the Grand Prix Series)

"I will run that mile at GCC in April also, but I've already got my
excuse lined up as it's shortly after the Bataan Death March Memorial
Marathon."Actually, the mile I'm planning to run is at the Scottsdale Distance Festival on April 4. It's a high school track event (only 800 and longer) at Saguaro HS, and smack dab in the middle is a "Citizens' Mile" for us older and slower folk."And I really appreciate that you kept your word and didn't laugh at me, even though I gave you many opportunities."I only laugh at ME, and then I get to laugh back at myself. It's a good system. However, I DID, as promised, "tell on you" to Lowell regarding the golf cart. With the caveat that YOU had in fact run in the a.m., and that I had SKIPPED my run in order to walk at the Zoo and on the golf course. I feel strongly that Lowell will be merciful.I managed to play bogey-golf today, and that's really good for me. Also, it was Kevin's best round overall. Even though we both hit the same tree on the 5th hole! Ahhh, golf. The reason it's called "golf" is that "&%#@#**&^%#" was already taken...Bruce

Hi Jerry,We thoroughly enjoyed running into you & John today, and sharing our collective lack of prowess on the golf course. Although if your brother could hit that driver consistently... watch out!I checked our "rival" results, and I actually did best you in ONE (1) race, last summer, by 2 whole seconds! And that was in a 5K - I doubt I'll ever get near you in anything longer. I'm going to try a track mile in early April, and my goal is to finally break 6:00 as an adult. Last year in the same event I ran 6:09.Good luck on all your upcoming races.Bruce
