Patty,
Thankyou for hosting the triathlon in Redlands last week. You did a great job organizing the event. You should host more races...you definitely know how to run an event. But you are a great athlete as well...so its great to see you out on the race course as well!

Hi Patty, planning to race Imperial Beach Duathlon 8/23. Bernard Mougel bettered me by 6sec OC Duathlon last May. He usually shows up for the event. Toss my hat in the ring with him. Make it on down to race if you can. Be great to see you. Mike

This was a "C" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: I was VERY pleased with my general overall performance, especially posting the FASTEST Female Bike Split and 20th overall bike split for both M & W! I wasn't going to do this race since I raced a lot this year. However, since I told a friend I would do it, I kept my word. I was very relaxed and not in my normal "race mode." The race had a good competitive field, which I like, and once the start gun went off, so did I! Congratulations to everyone who came out and raced! Hope you achieved your own personal goals. Keep training, keep racing, keep living! Maybe I'll see you next year! Patty

This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: First time to Worlds and am pleased with most of my performance. It was pouring rain on the 1st lap of the bike course and I was a bit too cautious. This hurt my chance for the podium. Oh well, better 4th than crashed out. No excuses though - it's racing at it's best. I felt strong and was very pleased with both runs and my 2nd lap on the bike. Race, learn and keep racing and learning!

This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.
Race Notes: Unbelievable race! I took the lead in the T1 transition, unknowingly, but hammered on the bike to increase my lead. Once it was confirmed in T2, I was overjoyed! That makes it 3-in-a-row Overall! No one would have imagined a 52 year old doing that. Train Smart and Win! Age is a number, not an excuse!

This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.
Race Notes: It's always nice to win the overall, especially since I'm preparing for the World Duathlon Championships. NOTE: The bike leg was 9 miles not 3.1 miles.

This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.
Race Notes: WOW! I was VERY pleased and excited to be the OVERALL Champion! It's been years since I did an all-women's event. It was great to see 554 women out there, each with their own personal goals. Everyone who achieved their goal was a winner. Keepting Trying, Keep Striving, Keep Moving!
