Hit the hills for the first time in a loooooooong while. Ish. I have a feeling I'm gonna like our track workouts better. Regardless, glad to be on the comeback trail and ready to hit training for TC. Getting back in the weight room....all systems go!

The day after. Resting comfortably and very happy:) Grandma's was a definite success for me. The marathon is a spiritual experience to say the least. It's also a powerful thing. It can lift you up to the highest of highs and no sooner drop you like dead weight at the turn of a corner. A little over 2 hours or just under 7, the accomplishment remains. Learned a lot about myself over those final miles. Enjoyed the first ride. Boston, here I come!

And then the final four was over. Nothing left to do but rest, ice, ibu, pack, eat, sleep, little jolt to the system in the AM and then a nice drive to Duluth. Said my final thank you to the River-won't make it down that far in the morning. Legs were lighter today. All systems soon to be a go. There's a definite learning curve with EVERY aspect of running......it's sure been a loooooooooong training cycle. Loved almost all of it and would change none of it;)

Goodbye to the 6-legs are heavy. I'm told that's normal but still (and rightfully so) nervewracking. So, the serious yoga taper begins...ankle good!
