This was a "C" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.

Race Notes: Fun race. The challenge was getting there and so I took my time and enjoyed "The Boston Marathon". I am looking forward to running it again in 2010.

2009 Whirlpool Ironman 70.3 Steelhead Triathlon: Half Iron Tri -1.2Mi Swim, 54Mi Cycle, 13.1Mi Run

This was a "A" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.

Race Notes: SWIM: A bit choppy. Could not site well if you were in the bottom of a swell. Fun to swim in Lake Michigan. BIKE: Good course. Fast for the most part. VERY windy the last 20 miles. RUN: I liked the run (I am a runner). One short, steep hill that you have to run twice. Lots of aid stations. OVERALL: I really liked this race. Will be back next year.

Flying Pig Marathon 2009: Run-Marathon

This was a "C" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 5 out of 5.

Race Notes: This was important to me because it was my brothers (SCB) first marathon. I wanted to be there to support him in his journey into running. As a side note...when we got to mile 10, I asked if he had ever ran this far before and he said no. He ran to mile 17 before we had to walk. It was very interesting to run at the back of the pack and see the difference.
