I've just started in the sport with the ultimate goal of qualifying to go to the big island for the IMWC. I'm currently in the USCG and don't get a chance to do many races right now but am hoping with a change in duty station to land all that will change and my races and training can more easily fall into place. Mainly trying to do sprints and olys for the next year or two until my crazy schedule clears up and I can fit more time in to train for bigger longer races.

First Tri

Run leg in first tri. This was a great experience for me and only confirmed my prediction that I would become hooked on triathlon. After many years of wanting to do one I finally have and plan to do many more in the future.

Cooper River

Ran this race w/ my wife who wanted to finish in under an hour which was a PB for her in a 10K. So proud of her!!! but next year she'll be on her own so I can PB my 10K :p It was our first race together and a ton of fun, and a ton of people. Close to 30,000 finishers!
