How are you doing? Every time I think "I'll call Trevor", it is past 9 your time, and I don't want to wake you up. Here all is well. I've been running quite a bit and the weather is great. I've been doing lots of shopping too. As you might not yet know, (it's a new life-style) when I get very tired I buy stuff. I've been bored with my dresses for a long time, so I bought a couple of some dresses, and I also some other necessities. If we were poor, Randy would have to institutionalize me. It's his b-day on Friday, so, among other things, I got him a MSU snuggie. And also a couple of dozen shirts, so that he does not look like Kolinski (sp?), the math dude with no taste. Anyway, I'll call you soon. Your times (up there) are fantastic. Can you imagine if you ad started running in HS?

If I were as dedicated to any sport as I am to eating that Cheesecake I would be an Olympian by now. The crust is almost gone, since I eat it from the bottom up, in an attempt to make the consumption of it less obvious to Randy. Thus, the thing gets shorter by the hour. Plus I put it on the botton shelf of the dowstairs frige. So, when he opens the door, he looks down at the cheesecake and cannot really see its actual height. The top is exactly as it was yesterday though, what makes for a perfect illusion. If he notices, I will say that deserts made with cream cheese tend to "settle" once refrigerated, meaning, they shrink more and more each day. Then, I can give the example of my defunct grandmother's puddin that vanished from the plate overnight. People who cook know that about certain ingredients. Randy can also go ask Catherine.

Got it new for $154 from PCNation! $100 cheaper! Free shipping too. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to figure it out myself, but I might call you for help.

surfing, not surf. The wave in question was 68 feet high. If you are going to go for it, go for it, I say. I do 6 feet if you can try 60 instead? Die in glory or live in fear.

This was a "C" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: Ran a fairly well-paced race. Just didn't have the speed to reach my goal (10:58).

This was a "C" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: Pretty good for my first trail run ever (that I heard about only two days before race day). I would be happier with my performance had I not fallen down within sight of the finish line. Overall, it was a good learning experience though.

This was a "B" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: I'm satisfied with my performance given my level of preparation (average of less than 7.5 miles per week during the 18 weeks leading up to the race). With more even pacing, I think I could have done a little better though.

Great race! (although I have nothing to compare it to) I'm really excited about finally running my first race. |
