Hi my fellow runners! I ran my very first race in 1986 (Bel Air Town Run). What a history that follows. I can't count the races and all those t-shirts! At this time, running is not the top thing in my life. It has a place, but the Lord is first now. Running is still a great sport and still love getting out there. As I got older and ran less, the pounds did show. But I have a plan to lose some of those. My goal is 170 and it goes well, 165 would be better. I have learned more about nutrition. I used to eat and not care; that has changed. Less greasy and junk food. Okay, I still love pizza.

Today was the first day of spring and I kicked it oof with an 8K here in VA Beach! Good conditions, but for me, not a great race. I was okay with it being the first race into my racing season. Next week I head to Richmond for the Monument Ave. Ukrop 10K!
