It looks as though my quest to hammer the AZ IM might be over for this year. After several thousand miles on the bike and hundreds and hundreds of running miles and actually spenting enough time in the pool to grow gills. I fell while picking up a friends water bottle while still partially clipped in my pedal and cracked my knee square on the curb. End result a partially torn meniscus. My fitness is through the roof and was to the point I honestly don't think i even would have felt the run. I am in a state of shock right now however my faith in God tells me that God will do what He does and all things will be reveiled in His time. So where from here - I've done the MRI and gotten 2 doctors opinion. Bottom line they both want to give it 2 weeks and re-evaluate. I've already been off a week and a half with little change and as much as I want to be positive it seems that even if I did get a chance it would only be to finish and that isn't what i was signing up for. Thanks to all my friends that have checked in with me and kept my spirits up and for those that are racing in AZ - Kevin,Jamie,Mike,Ron,Wade - This is your time. Cease this moment in time and take it my force.
