I am a 73 year old runner and have run long distance for 31 years, formerly of Alexandria, VA. I prefer running 1/2 marathons, although I have finished 10 marathons and thousands of shorter races. I usually winn or place in my age group. I remain competitive to keep me interested in running. Before exercising, my weight was 215 pounds. I started running at age 41 for health and weight maintenance, as well as the cammoradarie with other runners.

Race Notes: Thia was a fabulous race, the course was the best. It cost many $$$ to enter but you get your moneys worth. It was a great event overalll
