This was a "B" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: Didn't feel that great but ended up running into a guy named Jim, who I had never met before. Jim's good friend, who had got him into running, had died running the weekend before running the same course we were running. He was running in memory of his friend, who died at a point prior where the finish line was. Jim wanted to finish the run his friend couldn't. His friend's family was out cheering us on and at points in the run Jim would tell me he was getting tired but I told him told him to work hard in memory of his friend. It was the most spirituality fullfilling race I have ever run.
