I started running again in 2003 to keep in shape. I added
triathlons to cross train and got hooked on them as well. Since then I have run 17 marathons and many triathlons, working my way up to 2 IronMan finishes at Ironman Florida in 2005 and ChesapeakeMan in 2007. One of my goals is to run a marathon in all 50 states and one on each of the 7 continents, and continue to do an Ironman every couple(or few) years. I started doing ultra marathons last year with the JFK 50 miler I will be stepping it up to a 100k next spring and then eventually a 100 miler.
I like to challenge myself and have fun along the way.
I have 2 little girls, Amber and Corinne, and an amazing wife Melissa, who are my biggest fans and my motivation. My most recent major events this year are the Rome Marathon (which I did on my honeymoon), the NYC triathlon, the Turkey Swamp (almost) 50K, and The Yonkers Marathon. I will be doing the Breakers Marathon in October, the NYC Marathon in a few weeks and the Las Vegas Marathon in December.
