This was a "B" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: This wasn't my best swim nor bike but it was my best run. I didn't push myself at all in the swim. I actually got into the water 30 minutes before my wave and that was too much because I was shivering when my wave started. I was a full minute slower on my swim over last year.
I had not been on a bike since my last triathlon at Camp Pendleton because of carpal tunnel in both hands and wrists so I was expecting a slow ride though I was only one minute slower on my bi8ke over last year as well.
But because I hardly had anything to drink on the bike, only took a few sips on the run, the weather was very comfortable, I had the best run. I beat last year's run by 4 minutes!!! Beat my overall time from last year by two minutes so I'm very happy with my race!
