I've been running for a little over a year now. In that year I experienced a lot, I have met and raced against many interesting and great people in the Arizona running community. I recently changed up my training style and have found it to be very successful and have seen a lot of progress lately and feel that if I continue with this training I will continue to see progress and set new PR's. I am excited for another year of racing and meeting people!

WDYDT for Monday, June 22, 2009 Got a good 51 miles in last week but am sidelined tonight by what feels like a tight IT band, no good.

Raising the Bar for Education 5K: Run -5K

Sunday, 10/19/2008 — Phoenix, AZ

This was a "C" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 3 out of 5.

Race Notes: This was a tough hilly course that ran through the zoo. The views and weather were nice but the rollying hills and numerous sharp turns killed everyone's times.

This was a "A" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.

Race Notes: This race marked my first year of running. I started running at Pat's run last year, that race was literally my first run, and I haven't stopped since. That race was awesome, I love pat's run, I didn't run as fast as I had planned or hoped to but I still had a great time and it was for a great cause.

Ahwatukee YMCA 5K 2009: Run 5K

Saturday, 04/04/2009 — Phoenix, AZ

This was a "B" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 3 out of 5.

Race Notes: Whoever said that this course was "fast and flat" must not have run it. The last half was mostly uphill and into about a 10 to 15 mph wind. Felt good about my effort, I feel like I'm starting to get back into shape again.
