Let's see ... THIRD TRY IS A CHARM! The first time I trained for a triathlon was 2004 and somehow ... I found myself pregnant! Then in 2006, I began my training program again and somehow ... broke my ankle! Then, in 2008, call me crazy ... I decided I was going to really do it this time! I began training in July 2008. My goal was to be second to last in the US Women's Triathlon in Mission Bay on October 19th, 2008. I DID IT! I finished. I wasn't last but close! I have a few pictures and a medal to prove it! Next time, I hope to improve exponentially!
