This was a "C" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.

Race Notes: Love the venue for this event...Looped course, very spectator friendly, Ocean Swim, flat bike. Great food after! Had a pretty decent race. Better than expected swim, though frighteningly cold, good bike (except for my shadow that followed for 3 laps) and a pretty decent run as well. One of the best Northern California venues. Rivals Donner and Escape from Alcatraz for location.

This was a "B" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.

Race Notes: Very popular local event. Regional club championship race. Fast course with ocean swim and out & back courses on bike and run. Run follows ocean coastline. Beautiful. I had a marked improvement on the swim, about a standard bike split and a decent run. Would have liked to have shaved another 90 seconds off the run but not bad for an end of season event.

This was a "A" Race for me.

I rated my performance a 1 out of 5.

Race Notes: Well, another embarassing egg at Nationals. Go figure. Nice venue for an event and well run. Too bad they opened the dam upstream before the swim. The current really had an impact. After that, my day was pretty much over. Very nice looped bike course. Really great spectators.
