Cherry Blossom 10 Miler was run in ideal conditions - weather was beautiful and trees were in full bloom. It is one of the prettiest courses I have run. The race course was reversed this year, so the Memorial bridge was run early and you finished flat and fast through East Potomac Park (Hains Point) where a lot of Cherry Trees line the roadway. The course was run in reverse to ease crowding at the start, but with so many runners it is hard to ease crowding anywhere along the course.
