Ran 6 miles at a challenging pace last night. I am currently organizing and recruiting as many people as I can to run a 5K in San Francisco on Sunday, December 20th. All proceeds from this event benefit women's homeless shelters throughout San Francisco. Please join me and let's work together to make a difference in the lives of all those who are less fortunate this holiday season. Contact me for more info.

I ran 7 miles on Friday in SoCal and 6 miles yesterday in NorCal. I couldn't seem to shake the cobwebs that I had attached to my legs after four days off from running. I definitely will NOT be running a marathon this month. I hope to get back on track extremely soon. Nonetheless, the break from running was much needed. I start a new training regiment tomorrow in preparation for L.A. I am definitely going to give this marathon everything I've got. Therefore, wish me luck. I am going to need it.

Organized a 5 mile run at Shoreline Park in Mountain View on Sunday. Lots of energy and excitement from everyone who participated. Many had not run 5 miles before or that distance in several years. It was truly inspiring to watch them accomplish a new goal. I want to say "thank you" for joining me yesterday and I hope we can continue to inspire each other for years to come. Your efforts are both commendable and uplifting. Keep up the good work!

Ran 6 miles and played football on a rainy day. Haven't had that much fun in a long time. Suffice to say, I can barely move at the moment. But nonetheless, I have a long run scheduled for late this afternoon after a beach clean up in Santa Cruz. If you would like to join me, give me a shout. Until then, enjoy living your life!

Ran 6 miles at a challenging pace after work yesterday. The cool, crisp, and clean air that only autumn can provide has made running lately an absolute pleasure. It feels great to enjoy running again.Although I have been working extremely hard toward qualifying for Boston,I lost that runner's high for the last couple of months.I'm still focused and determined, but am retrieving that positive perspective that only running can provide. As you already know,it is well worth the effort.Today and always.

I went for an 8 mile run yesterday and didn't spend a single second worrying about time, clocks, trainers, races, deadlines, or anything else for that matter. I can't believe how much I have enjoyed running this week. I have decided to take the rest of the year off from races or any other events. Now is as good a time as any to reflect, enjoy, and reformulate a game plan for 2010. I can't imagine a better time to run than this time of year. I hope to see some of you on the trail soon. Enjoy your run!
