I never was an athlete until I was 29 years old, that is when I took running more seriously. That is how I met my husband. I ran Boston in 1985 and the Maryland Marathon in 1987. I put my running on hold to go to grad school and hav my two kids. Now that my kids can be left home legally, I began to get back on the roads, trails and whatever for the last year. I have met new buds and met up with buds I haven't run with since the late 80's.
