Go fast and go have a beer! Always race fair. Love my wife, my kids, training and racing. That is me at the top of the Nautica Malibu 2008 Olympic Race M45-49 Podium. It is the only race I know that actually has a podium. Aging up in 2009, getting older is OK as long as I am still getting faster.

Finished 2009 Triathlon Year at Soma Half IM Sun. 1st Age Group and 43rd overall in 4:43:07. Don't like the long distance but it was a nice finish a GREAT year. This was my 8th Age Group Win in 09! Wins at Rage OLY in NV, Tempe International Sprint, Tribal Sprint, Breath of Life OLY Regional Championship in Ventura, Malibu OLY, Nathan's OLY, PBR Offroad Sprint, and Soma Half Ironman. Losses were Bartlett (no USAT age policy - 2nd 45-49) and Pacific Coast Sprint Nat. Championship w/no swim.

Tom,
Congrats on your latest race !! 2:07......That is a great time and I know the work you must have put in to lay down a race like this. Again, what a great showing. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you out there. You did our age group proud--Charles A. Seebold mrchas602@yahoo.com 602-300-7062

This was a "" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 1 out of 5.
Race Notes: Was really 9th overall and 2nd in 45-49 This very porr excuse for a race organization does not conform to USAT age group rules, if they had I would have been first in 50-54.

Back from 2 weeks in CA. Cool training! Pacific Coast Sprint Tri was a bit of a bust. Swim cancelled due to high surf and not a great result at 5th in Age Group. Competition was tough, all 5 top finishers were within 1 min 12 secs!

Biked 31 miles at 5 AM. dark and cool and my legs are still a little sore from the Barlett Lake Oly. Tri Sunday. After the hills in that race everything else this year will seem easy! I think the downhill running is what really beat me up.
