I'm just getting into running... at almost 30. I guess it's my early mid-life crisis. My current goal is simple: Run a 5K without stopping/hacking up a lung. Wish me luck!

A real mid-life crisis is when you guy a new Mustang GT and let your brother-in-law drive it around because his is gone:(
300 miles before May is the goal. I should have that easy. I started tracking my miles 21 Oct and pretty much took December off to weight lift like crazy. Now it is just cardio until I come home!

Finally decided to start my weight training using the Blowflex... worked on Legs/Calves/Abs today... I'm already hurting... this is going to be a tough week.

Only ran 2.35mi today (10:39/mi pace)... I'm getting worse! I'll blame it on the dogs (that I had to fight with the whole way) and on being music-less.

Ran 2.44mi in 25 min (10:16/mi pace). Not as good as last time... I guess that's what I get for not doing anything for over a week!

Ran 2.52mi in 25 minutes. Yeah! Considering, I wasn't sucking wind too bad... maybe I AM getting better... :)
