Hiking in Estes Park in Colorado back in 1999.
The little brown haired girl with her brother on her shoulders started us all running by joining her high school cross country team (it's all her fault :-)
10 Years later in 2009 the little girl on my shoulders just ran her first full 10K w/o walking in 71 minutes. The little curly blond haired brother is shaming us all in recent years, running a 47:54 10K at age 11.
Mom is taking the picture and completed her first Marathon (PF Chang's Rock n Roll Marathon) in Phoenix in January of this year and has come to love the mini triathlons.

(What did you do today?)
Ran the Boulder Backroads Half Marathon, Hard race this year not as enjoyable. They changed it up some. started at 9a rather than 8a. Hot, mid 80's with a good stiff wind out of the west. It really showed on mile 12.

That's a lot of pushups... today we did a crazy cross fit. We did four sets with the following repetitions in each set: 21, 15, 12, 9. In each set, we did the given repetitions of situps, pushups, knees to elbows (ab workout on pull up bar), push press, dips and L-sit (hold yourself off floor in L position for given # of situps). Ugh i'm beat :)

Sounds like you are doing really well with the training. I was planning on running with my old CC team over this break again but they have switched from morning runs to evening runs (which is when Ryan and I go climbing) so I think i'm back to training on my own. Got a swim coach :) Going to spend each week with my focus on one event. Swimming this week and next, then bike, run, rest, etc. Got a good race coming up in September and want to see what i can do if i actually set a training plan and try to stick to it. What's your next race? And when are you going to do a triathlon? You could come to mine in September :) Ryan's dad is supposed to do it with us too.

Hey, looks like you are picking back up in your running/training. Are you training for a specific race or just trying to keep in shape? Looks like you're doing pretty well!

I think he is just an administrator, it is probably easier to monitor everyone's account if he is friends with you, then they don't have to work around your chosen security/privacy settings.

Ok finally got the friend thing figured out, i think that athlinks has a few bugs to work on, it was not exactly a smooth process. I have you listed as a confirmed friend but it made me send you another friend request, lol. We'll see

ran at dick sporting good park. Lots of trails on the North side of stadium. really good run. 6.75 miles in 63 minutes.

did 200 Pushups and BFL situps 12,10,8,6,12 and 12 with a minute between except for last set of 12. they were done immediately following 5th set at 12.

Hike with the family, we did 2, 14'ers Grays and Torrey's Peaks up near Georgetown, Co. 8.5 miles in 8 hours all at 10,000 feet or higher.
