Glen "The Rabbit" Doyle
I just started running AGAIN.... in Feb of 2009. back in High school I broke my ankle real bad and just had not tested it for a long haul... as I turned 36 I wanted to start a bucket list or a list of things that I wanted to accomplish. In May of 2009 I ran my first HM. All summer I have been running in little 5K and 10K races trying to stay in good enough form to complete a full M in May of 2010. I will be completing another HM in Sept. I like to run and stay fit but I also have a triathalon on my list so crank up the music and lets (as we say in Nebraska) Git'r Done........

Yesterday was an off day so I did absolutely nothing but relax.. tonight I have a 5K race. not looking toblow anyone away so I will go with a nice 7 min/mil pace and see if I can maintain.. carb day was yesterday so today is dump day..... hahahaha that's a joke but NO REALLY!

Yesterday was an off day so I did absolutely nothing but relax.. tonight I have a 5K race. not looking toblow anyone away so I will go with a nice 7 min/mil pace and see if I can maintain.. carb day was yesterday so today is dump day..... hahahaha that's a joke but NO REALLY!

training schedule called for 5 miles: 1 mile warm up, 3 miles at 7:35, and a 1 mile cool down. every thing went well I feel pretty good except I got drenched. 1 st warm up mile was dry and the other 4 I got rained on pretty good. I may have even killed my MP3 player.

yeasterday--rest day-- 7/28/09----warm up 1 mile @ 9:00 min/mile pace, restday workout will consist of arms, abs, calfs, pull ups and a round of shadow boxing with 10lb weights

looked at the training schedule and realized I needed to run tonight. sooo I got out and pushed out 2 miles on schedule and in time and then I will rest tomorrow... set ups and pushups before bedtime....

yesterday, ran 2 miles on the ground and 2 miles on the tredmill. did some pull ups, set ups and ab work outs.. tonight I rest.... tomorrow I start my training program for my HM.

ran three miles last night felt descent but not were I was before I got hurt.... I just need to put in the miles no matter how fast it is right now.... drive on, rabbit, drive on ALSO I am starting to hear my music again so that's good..... i guess..

ran two miles tonight not together but separate. 7:30 min/mil felt good then walked two mile with my wife got home did my push ups and set up crunches and then got into the hot tub.... feeling good I think I my reconditioning has begun.....

ran saturday.... It was a hot one but I think I did alright.. got 3rd in age group.. need to work on conditioning and I will be back in form..... ready for GI's half marathon.... train slower this time......
