Newton Baker

Have run 130 marathons, mostly to train for 24 hour runs - my favorite event (23), also 5 Vt 100 Trail Runs, but my favorite run was a 4 day North to South, Vermont border to border journey run. A year later, I re-enacted it with my wife filming and added a sound track of family interview stories. I most enjoy the running friends I've made and the support and challenges we face together. Still working on how to run with the fallout of prostate cancer surgery, radiation, hormone suppression, a broken left ankle with a plate and seven screws, (all in 2007) and as an 8 year stage zero CLL (leukemia) patient. This is just to say one should keep going and many others have with far worse problems to overcome.
