In 2001 I moved from Memphis to Peachtree City GA and just got caught up in the wrong crowd (the Darkside Running Club). In 2005 I moved to Birmingham and things haven't improved. I've run every day since July 1, 2004. I've run 50 marathons/ultras. I can't seem to shake this obsession. Maybe if I can just get this 3-hr marathon monkey off my back I'll settle down a little.

10 mile run with Jim Bonds. We originally intended to do my Greystone Bushwacker. After the first non-trail woods climb we came out on a road and encountered a copperhead. After that we stayed out of the woods for the rest of the run.
