In Nov 08 I quit smoking. In Apr 2009 got into bike riding, and completed a couple of metric centuries. Inspired by my wife (who started running last year and completed 4 half marathons this year) I decided to start running this fall. My short term goal is to complete several 5Ks this fall. After that my goal is to compete in the Chicago Triathlon 2010.

This was my first 5K ever run. Got swept up in the emotions, had to walk for a minute about half way through. With about half a mile left my calf strain started hurting.
