I have expanded the scope of "RunningBull's Run to Honor America's Veterans" to further the following three goals:
(1) Showing my appreciation for the service of our Nation's veterans - my father first and foremost,
(2) Honoring the memory of those soldiers who have died because of our current War on Terror, and
(3) Helping to promote and support the New England Center for Homeless Veterans (NECHV) in their mission of reintegrating the veterans who came home but are currently without a "home" for whatever reason.

Ever get the feeling that you run TOO MUCH? Me neither, but I have been told that racing every other week (or more often) is "ambitious".

I'd say your pace was nearly a mirror image of mine in Detroit. Saw you pop into the porta potty at Belle Isle. Guessing everything came out allright. Good luck at R.I. ultra.

hey champ! Thanks for the post. I sure hope I exceed my expectations next month....I am feeling pretty good at meeting my goal right now. When are we going to run another race together? Of course, you'll have to be the pacer if that is ever going to happen =)

Hi Josh, I was not notified of your post until I logged on for fun. Anyway, I clicked on the link but didn't see a place where to vote. I think I was too late. Is there anything I can do to help you get to Hawaii???

hey super cool Mr. Race Director. wow! So, can I run that event for free since I have connections? =) BAD NEWS! I'm not running Boston this April. I'm sure you noticed my terrible time for my most recent marathon? Well, I ran off the curb around mile 18 and did something to my knee. And since I haven't ran since then (except for races I had already signed up for) I just can't get ready in time for Boston. But, I will train smart here on out and will be ready to run it next year. You'll have to wait another year for me to pick you up then =) Let me know how your intro to race directing goes =)

Hi Josh! I hope to run into your friend this weekend. And I plan on hunting you down in April and maybe picking you up this time. =) Have a great race this month and see you in a few months, on your turf!

It is my plan to run in your pace group. I missed Boston by 5 seconds when I ran Philly last November. I hope to close the gap by running in your group. This will be difficult as I am not sure how my body will feel running back to back marathons within a 8 week period.

Less than ideal performance at the NH Marathon forced me to forego the ME Marathon to ensure a good performance Pacing at Detroit in 2 weeks. I've been bumped up to 3:20 (from 3:50). Gives me more time for sight seeing after.

Mini Report for 4th - Ras na hEireann U.S.A. 5Km: Run - 5K Added a Mini Report.
Sunday, 03/19/2006 — Somerville, MA
This was a "C" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: Official time does not reflect my actual performance since I started at the very back of the pack and had to fight through all of the baby strollers and walkers over the first half of the course before I could get into my preferred pace/stride.

Mini Report for Greater Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon and Huck Finn 5k: RUN://MARATHON Added a Mini Report.
Saturday, 10/08/2005 — Hartford, CT
This was a "A" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 3 out of 5.
Race Notes: My FIRST marathon. This was definitely a learning experience of just how important proper training, equipment (for a constant soaking rain), and pre-race fuel can be. I broke myself real good at this one. But was reinvigorated to volunteer the next day at the BAA 1/2 Marathon because I could truly appreciate how valuable the volunteers can be.

Mini Report for Little Rock Marathon - 2009: Run- Marathon Added a Mini Report.
Sunday, 03/15/2009 — Little Rock, AR
This was a "B" Race for me.
I rated my performance a 4 out of 5.
Race Notes: Pace leader for the 3:30 group. This was a great event, very well managed from expo to celebration. The course gets a little mentally challenging in the 6 mile flat section out-and-back to the Big Dam Bridge near the end but it does let you recover your composure before the final rolling hills heading into the finish. I had a lot of fun with this one.

Still trying to determine how hard/far I can run with my recently developed Neuroma on my right foot. Hill work last night was brutal.
