Jeff Sorkness here; fairly new member, trying to get back into racing and noticed you're a year older than myself, yet you run like a 22 year old ... fast and strong. Question if you don't mind, just trying to pick your brain ... to train for Pat's Run or any type of race 10k or less, do you think running 40 plus miles a week is better than, say, running 10 400's or 8 800's around a track with less mileage? Thanks in advance for your time ...

Race Notes: very brutal day. the worst and best race I have ever had. The results where shit, but the experience was 1st class.
cramped from mile 75 on the bike, thru mile 17 of the run.

Race Notes: Very happy with result. Should have run about 5minutes faster, but the elevation sucked me dry! Bike and swam well for me!!
No real taper!!

Race Notes: Swim was roughly 400 meters long. Had a decent race considering the lack of importance and no taper. Ran and biked well. Temps where perfect for the run
